We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our team and drive business success through data-driven insights.

Job Description:

A Data Scientist plays a pivotal role in organisations, collecting, analysing and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions and drive operations forward. Leveraging programming, statistical analysis and machine learning techniques, they uncover hidden patterns, build predictive models and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ statistical methods to collect and organise data, exercising problem-solving skills.
  • Develop innovative solutions to encountered problems in data collection, cleaning and statistical model development.
  • Gather data from multiple sources and prepare it for analysis.
  • Analyse large volumes of structured and unstructured data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop machine learning models and predictive algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Validate findings using statistical techniques to ensure accuracy.
  • Create clear, engaging visualisations and reports to communicate results.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams to apply data-driven insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Information Systems or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role (SFIA level 3-4)
  • Proficiency in Python, C++.
  • Proficiency in AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertox.
  • MLops scalability and model Development.
  • Experience with containerisation (Docker).
  • Excellent communication - both visual and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders with proactivity and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
