Job Title: IOT Connectivity Lead For a leading Automotive OEM.

Job Description:
As an IoT Connectivity Lead, you will be responsible for defining functional requirements for IoT connectivity and driving their development with external vendors or in-house teams. You will also coordinate testing requirements and verification of functionality, structuring and managing the data pipeline from telematics devices to actionable insights. Additionally, you will evaluate new technology solutions to support customer use cases, assess regulatory requirements for connected vehicle infrastructure, and present concise reports to leadership while participating in solution brainstorming, design reviews, and feedback sessions.

Required Exposure:
Sound understanding of IoT fundamentals, network protocols (TCP, MQTT, HTTP), device management, PKI for security, MS-Excel, scripting in VB Script/ Python/ R, databases (SQL/noSQL/ MongoDB), data representation formats (XML and JSON), AWS/ MS Azure/ Google firebase.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Define functional requirements for IoT connectivity and drive their development with external vendors or in-house teams.
  2. Coordinate testing requirements and verification of functionality.
  3. Structure and manage the data pipeline from telematics devices to actionable insights.
  4. Evaluate new technology solutions to support customer use cases.
  5. Assess regulatory requirements for connected vehicle infrastructure and their implications on vehicles and systems.
  6. Present concise reports to leadership and participate in solution brainstorming, design reviews, and feedback sessions.
