Quality Assurance Engineer Role

As we reimagine modern ethnic wear, we're looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers and product teams, and improving QA processes to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web, mobile, and backend applications.
  2. Perform manual functional testing as well as contribute to automation for regression and repetitive tasks.
  3. Test APIs (REST/GraphQL) for functionality, data validation, error handling, and performance.
  4. Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive web and mobile applications.
  5. Report, track, and verify defects using Jira or equivalent bug tracking tools.
  6. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps during sprints and release cycles.
  7. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release testing.
  8. Contribute to building and enhancing automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, and Postman.
  9. Ensure quality in staging and production deployments.

Qualification & Skills:

  • 2–5 years of experience in QA/testing for Web, Mobile, and Backend systems.
  • Hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing.
  • Familiarity with tools & frameworks:
  • Web: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
  • Mobile: Appium / Espresso / XCUITest
  • API: Postman / REST Assured / JMeter
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
