Job Title: Website Tester

We're looking for a detail-oriented individual to act like a real customer and evaluate websites from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Visit assigned websites and understand their purpose.
  • Follow a step-by-step checklist and record findings.
  • Test key user flows, such as browsing products, adding to cart, and checking out.
  • Spot and report issues like broken links, confusing content, or accessibility problems.
  • Check payment methods and complete test transactions.
  • Confirm post-purchase details like order confirmation pages and email receipts.

Tools You'll Use:

  • Web browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge (on desktop and mobile).
  • Screen capture tools: Loom, CleanShot, or similar.
  • Task tracking: Jira, Asana, Trello.
  • Docs: Google Docs/Sheets, Notion.
  • Security tools: Password manager, VPN (if needed).

Success Factors:

  • Complete all checklist items and test scenarios.
  • Deliver clear, detailed, and easy-to-understand reports.
  • Verify payment methods accurately and complete test purchases on time.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
