Job Title: Database Administrator

This role involves overseeing the smooth functioning of databases, ensuring they are running efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will have expertise in Oracle database administration, with a strong understanding of database concepts, architecture, and security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle database software for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implementing and maintaining robust database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Optimizing database performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.
  • Troubleshooting complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
  • Developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies using RMAN to ensure business continuity and minimize data loss.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a strong foundation in database concepts and administration.
  • Freshers or experienced candidates with basic knowledge of Oracle database administration can apply.

Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Oracle database concepts, including SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Understanding of database security best practices, including access control, encryption, and auditing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
