AI-Driven Vulnerability Management Expert

This role involves the day-to-day administration of a leading vulnerability management platform. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and security fundamentals, with a willingness to grow into more advanced responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine administration and monitoring of the vulnerability management platform
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining various modules including patch management and asset inventory
  • Respond to and resolve support tickets related to vulnerability management operations
  • Maintain and update asset groups and tags within the platform
  • Ensure accurate asset discovery and classification
  • Assist in syncing asset data with external systems
  • Support deployment and troubleshooting of cloud agents across various platforms
  • Monitor agent health and coverage
  • Assist in automating agent deployment processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Hands-on experience with the vulnerability management platform
  • Strong knowledge of patch management and asset inventory processes
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to Python scripting or willingness to learn
  • Experience with API integration or other vulnerability management tools
  • Basic understanding of ITIL processes and ticketing systems
  • Security certifications are a plus
