Role: SAP TMS Transportation Management System Consultant

SAP TMS transportation management system consultants implement and optimize solutions that enhance clients' transportation and logistics operations.

They configure the TMS module, integrate it with other SAP logistics solutions, and analyze existing logistics processes to identify areas for optimization within transportation management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and configuring SAP TMS solutions according to client requirements
  • Analyzing existing logistics processes to identify areas for optimization within transportation management
  • Collaborating with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure effective integration of TMS with other SAP modules, like SD and MM
  • Conducting testing and validation of TMS functionalities to ensure system performance and reliability
  • Training and supporting end-users in utilizing SAP TMS features and best practices
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients on SAP TMS functionalities and transportation management strategies
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

• A minimum of 4+ years of experience as an SAP TMS Consultant with hands-on implementation and support experience

• Strong understanding of transportation management processes and logistics best practices

• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA and ECC is preferred

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members
