Healthcare Data Specialist

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical terminologies, clinical trial data, and healthcare coding.

  1. Extract, enter, and perform preliminary quality checks on healthcare datasets.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage market definitions, including NDC, ICD, and disease-related coding.
  3. Conduct end-to-end HCP profiling using secondary research methodologies.
  4. Validate medical data to ensure adherence to industry quality standards.
  5. Lead the development of data extraction, analysis, and reporting processes.
  6. Manage and oversee data extraction and analysis projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  7. Perform complex data analysis and present findings to internal teams and clients.
  8. Engage with medical societies, conferences, and PAGs to gather research insights.
  9. Develop strategic plans for medical data projects, aligning with business objectives.
  10. Provide domain expertise across multiple disease areas to enhance decision-making.
  11. Collaborate with global teams on high-impact healthcare research projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminologies, clinical trial data, and healthcare coding systems.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, validation, and project management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering insights to stakeholders.
