Senior Brain Surgeon

A seasoned Neurosurgeon is sought after to join our esteemed medical team at a reputable hospital in the Greater Kolkata Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing intricate neurosurgical procedures, managing complex cases, and providing expert care in trauma neurosurgery and spine surgery.

This is a full-time, on-site position that requires the selected candidate to possess exceptional surgical skills, strong expertise in neurosurgery and spine surgery, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings.

1. Perform both elective and emergency neurosurgical procedures with precision and skill.
2. Manage complex cases involving cranial, spinal, and peripheral nerve surgery with confidence and expertise.
3. Diagnose and treat patients with neurological and spine disorders using advanced diagnostic techniques and treatments.
4. Provide expert care in trauma neurosurgery and spine surgery, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
5. Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions with Neurology, Orthopaedics, Critical Care, and Oncology teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

• Mandatory qualifications include MBBS from a recognized medical college and MS (General Surgery) followed by MCh (Neurosurgery) or equivalent DNB (Neurosurgery) qualification from an NMC-recognized institute.
• Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders is essential.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills are required to excel in this role.
• Fellowship training in spine or skull-base surgery is preferred but not mandatory.
