Senior Budget and Planning Expert

About the Role:
  • We're seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our budgeting efforts, ensuring all projects are properly funded and resources are allocated effectively.
  • You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Your expertise in project budgeting, BOQ analysis, cost forecasting, and variance reporting will help us make informed decisions and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to ensure accurate cost estimation and financial planning.
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to monitor financial progress and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Analyze and optimize BOQs across projects to ensure cost efficiency and consistency.
  4. Prepare and oversee the master schedule, ensuring accurate establishment and tracking of project baselines.
  5. Monitor financial progress of projects, including tracking of expenditures, variance analysis, and performance against budgets.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in budget management, cost control, or financial planning within real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong experience in project budgeting, BOQ analysis, cost forecasting, and variance reporting.
  • Proficient in budgeting tools, ERP systems, and project management software.
  • Bachelor's in Engineering / Finance / Quantity Surveying; MBA or professional certifications.
