About the Role

API testing is a critical component of software development and plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software systems.

We are seeking an experienced API testing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in API testing, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases for APIs, identifying and reporting defects, collaborating with developers to resolve defects, and maintaining test data and environments.

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans for APIs
  • Identify and report defects in APIs using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Restsharp
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and improve overall system quality
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date test data and environments
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in API testing
  • Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, Restsharp)
  • Experience with SQL databases and familiarity with Selenium using C#
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
