Eram Talent is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex network infrastructure solutions for our clients. As a leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy, we specialize in providing recruitment solutions for various industries, including IT and Networking.

The Senior Network Architect will be responsible for developing cutting-edge network designs that meet client needs and industry best practices. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies and protocols, including collaboration systems, cybersecurity standards, and private Cloud. They will also have experience in managing and delivering telecommunication network projects and leading implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing people and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Interfaces with business demand and translates business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Consolidates technical requirements and produces end-to-end solution designs, detailed BOQs, and costing for sector enablement and office fitout projects.
  • Responsible for the design and delivery of Edge network - LAN, Datacentre, and collaboration features and solutions.
  • Produces and maintains high-level and low-level design documentation.
  • Manages the capacity of the running Edge network - LAN, Datacentre, and collaboration.
  • Drives and manages optimizations and continuous service improvements related to the Office LAN and collaboration network.
  • Technical authority for Edge network - LAN, Datacentre, and collaboration.
  • Establishes and fosters key relationships with business and project stakeholders across the business sectors.
  • Develops regular reporting for both operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Manages Office LAN network CAPEX.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree qualification in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or an IT-related discipline.
  • CCIE, JNCIE, HNCIE expert-level industry certification (preferred) or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience in Network solutions architecture, design, or implementation lead position in a large enterprise, Service Provider, or Integrator.
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in managing and delivering telecommunication network projects and leading implementation teams.
  • Minimum of 2+ years' experience leading teams and managing people.
  • Deep knowledge of network technologies and protocols, including collaboration systems, cybersecurity standards, and private Cloud.
  • Good knowledge of security network systems (Firewalls, Proxies, Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion detection systems).
  • Ability to work without minimal supervision. Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and operating Cisco, Huawei, or Juniper network switches, routers.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and manage staff and to achieve business outcomes.
  • Experience managing geographically diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to translate technical terms into business processes to deliver effective change.
