Job Title: Shopify Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Developer to join our team at Intelliassist. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining Shopify stores, designing and developing bespoke themes, and ensuring seamless integration with Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and Platform APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop bespoke Shopify themes and modify existing templates according to company guidelines.
  • Work with UI and UX design teams to create innovative and user-friendly experiences.
  • Ensure smooth integration with Shopify Apps, Marketing Tools, and Platform APIs.
  • Debug and test websites regularly to enhance performance.
  • Provide technical support and coordination to protect the company against failure.
  • Optimize websites to increase conversion rates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, DOM, CSS3, and HTML5.
  • Previous experience with Storefront API and custom theme development.
  • Working knowledge of liquid templating and theming system of Shopify.
  • Experience with debugging or implementing 3rd-party Shopify applications.
  • Expertise in jQuery, current JavaScript frameworks, vanilla JavaScript, and ES2015 ES6.
  • Working knowledge of Shopify properties or objects, Meta fields, and AJAX API.
  • Debugging and testing abilities using browser console and various tools.
  • Ability to provide proactive feedback and interact effectively.
  • Working knowledge of 3rd-party APIs and services along with Shopify plugins.
