Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and maintain test plans, test cases and test scripts for software applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality.
  • Conduct extensive database testing including writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity, consistency and accuracy.
  • Identify document and track bugs defects and performance issues using tools like Jira or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
  • Perform functional regression integration and performance testing.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational software development and testing standards.
  • Analyze test results and provide clear detailed reports on software performance and issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in software testing Freshers with strong knowledge are welcome to apply.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Manual testing
  • Automation testing using tools like Selenium Cypress or Appium
  • Database testing using SQL
  • Proficiency with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
