- Help Desk Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Support Specialist to provide first-level support for hardware, software, network, and system issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, familiarity with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Salesforce, and Five9, and a customer service mindset with a calm and patient demeanor.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving basic technical problems, logging and tracking issues using Jira, and maintaining accurate documentation of issues and resolutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, network, and system issues via phone, email, or chat.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems or escalate as necessary.
- Log and track issues using Jira.
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Assist with setting up new user accounts.
- Keep inventory of IT assets and assist in equipment management.
- Provide fast, friendly, and efficient service.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, Salesforce, and Five9.
- Customer service mindset with a calm and patient demeanor.
- Familiarity with Jira is a plus.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
- 1-3 years of IT support or help desk experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
