Job Responsibilities
  1. Design specifications and user stories for assigned functionalities.
  2. Develop assigned components/classes and assist the QA team in writing test cases.
  3. Create and maintain coding best practices and conduct peer code/solution reviews.
  4. Participate in Daily Scrum calls, Scrum Planning, Retro, and Demos meetings.
  5. Identify technical/design/architectural challenges/risks during execution and develop action plans for mitigation and aversion.
  6. Comply with development processes, documentation templates, and tools prescribed by Cloudsufi or its clients.
  7. Collaborate with other teams and architects in the organization and assist them on technical issues/demos/POCs and proposal writing for prospective clients.
  8. Contribute to the creation of a knowledge repository, reusable assets/solution accelerators, and IPs.
  9. Provide feedback to junior developers and serve as a coach and mentor for them.
  10. Deliver training sessions on the latest technologies and topics to other employees in the organization.
  11. Participate in organization development activities, including interviews, CSR/employee engagement activities, participation in business events/conferences, and implementation of new policies, systems, and procedures as decided by Management.
Requirements

Mandatory Skills:

  • Scala
  • Spark
  • Map Reduce Concept
  • Hadoop and Spark programming
  • Design patterns (more than Singleton & Factory)
  • Connectors Development
  • Google Bigtable

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with SQL and query optimization techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Development of a Spark-based connector to extract or push records to applications
  • Working experience with Scala Upgrade

Non-Technical/Behavioral Competencies:

  • Experience working with US/Europe-based clients in onsite/offshore delivery models
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, technical articulation, listening, and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working under stringent deadlines in a Matrix organization structure
