Job Opportunity: 2D Animator

We are a creative team producing short-format cinematic animated movies based on themes of astrology and stock market.

Our focus is on delivering high-quality, visually striking content that blends storytelling with unique concepts. We value creativity, consistency, and aim for a healthy work-life balance.

As the 2D Animator, you will be responsible for animating anime-style characters (faces + body) for short-format cinematic animated movies. You will bring them to life through expressive facial emotions, body gestures, and smooth motion that matches the cinematic flow.

  • Animate 2D characters (face + body) for short-format cinematic movies and reels, with occasional environment/prop movement.
  • Work from given sketches/concept art to create expressive character movements (face, body, emotions).
  • Animate dialogues, gestures, and subtle emotional beats in a soulful, cinematic style.
  • Collaborate with illustrators, concept artists, and the director to ensure storytelling intent is preserved.
  • Prepare animation assets for compositing and final edit.
  • Iterate quickly on feedback from the creative director and animation team.
  • Maintain consistency in style, timing, and visual storytelling across episodes.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a talented 2D animator who can bring our characters to life in a cinematic style.

You will be responsible for animating 2D characters, working from provided sketches and concept art, and creating expressive character movements.

You will also animate dialogues, gestures, and subtle emotional beats in a soulful, cinematic style.

The ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years of experience as a 2D Animator, proficiency in Adobe Animate / After Effects / Toon Boom Harmony (or equivalent 2D animation tools), and a strong understanding of character acting, timing, and emotional expression.

A strong portfolio/reel showcasing expressive 2D character animation is required. Freshers with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.

Bonus points if you have experience with VFX, motion graphics, or compositing, and familiarity with stock market, mythology, or astrology themes.
