Job Summary: At UST, we leverage in-depth knowledge of SMART scripts to create applications, decommission outdated systems, optimize code, and collaborate with clients to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client-specific applications using SMART scripts
- Work with the engineering team to decommission outdated systems and ensure seamless transitions to new platforms
- Optimize existing code using 4GL skill sets to improve system efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement tailored solutions
- Provide expertise across different functional areas to ensure SMART applications meet business goals
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with SMART application and proprietary code base, particularly in Retailer client context
- Strong proficiency in 4GL programming with track record of successful system implementations and optimizations
- Prior experience in decommissioning legacy systems with deep understanding of challenges and best practices involved
- Previous work experience with Retailer client highly preferred with ability to adapt to their systems and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to stakeholders
