About this Key Role

This position holds significant importance in preventing fraud within the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of experience in fraud investigations or financial crime roles, with a strong understanding of UK-specific fraud typologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Knowledge of banking systems, fraud prevention databases, and case management software (e.g. National Hunter, SIRA,CIFAS, Experian Hunter for Customer Screening, SAS).
  • Understanding of UK regulatory environment (FCA, PRA, AML regulations) and fraud-related legislation.
  • Sound grasp of the UK market from a products, business/customer & value of money perspective.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with an ability to interpret complex data.
  • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Effective stakeholder management – able to engage across fraud, compliance, operations, and IT.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of fraud investigation techniques, along with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
