Job Posting:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to spearhead our data engineering team.

About the Role:

  • Create scalable and efficient ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Spark (PySpark or Scala), AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory
  • Develop workflows that integrate structured and unstructured data across cloud platforms
  • Build and maintain data lake and data warehouse solutions using AWS S3, Azure Data Lake, and AWS Glue
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application developers to support advanced analytics, reporting, and ML workflows
  • Implement job orchestration, monitoring, and error handling for reliable pipeline execution
  • Maintain and support existing Data Pipelines
  • Data load monitoring
  • Data Validation and quality checks
  • Analyze ingestion pipelines and optimize them in consultation with clients
  • Data: Level 2 and Level 3 Support
  • Investigate Glue job failures and restart failed jobs
  • Resolve minor transformation logic or input data issues
  • Resolve dependency failures in Glue workflows
  • Tune job configurations for optimal performance
  • Analyse Incidents and perform Root Cause Analysis
  • Supports an 8x5 shift model

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Applications, Master of Technology in Computer Science, Master of Computer Applications, BSc, MSc

Necessary Skills:

AWS Glue, ADF, ADB
