At Turing, we are looking for individuals with a strong background in biology to join our team of researchers. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience with problem-solving and critical thinking.

 

As a researcher at Turing, you will be responsible for creating biology problems, analyzing model responses, and identifying gaps in logic or understanding. You will work closely with our team to develop and refine AI models that can think critically and solve complex problems.

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • A Ph.D. in biology or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and provide clear feedback.
  • Experience working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate the logic behind a researcher's claims about immune signaling.
  2. Review a student's proposed strategy to study plant stress genes.

 

Eligibility:

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Able to provide clear, constructive feedback with examples.
  • Strong written communication, especially in remote settings.
  • Comfortable working independently.
  • Stable computer and internet access.

 

Contract Details:

  • Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
  • Engagement type: Contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave).
  • Duration of contract: 1 month.
  • Selection Process: Task-based assessment for shortlisted candidates, followed by a contract offer with defined timelines and workload.
