Learning Technology Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Technology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining RESTful API integrations and webhooks, as well as administering Moodle and Degreed integrations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain RESTful API integrations (JSON/XML) and webhooks; document with Open API
  • Develop and run automated API integration tests; troubleshoot
  • Publish and validate SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 content; implement xAPI statement generation and batching
  • Integrate with and operate LRS endpoints (e.g., SCORM Cloud and others) to capture and normalize xAPI statements
  • Administer and implement integration workflows for Moodle and Degreed: content import/export, user sync, roles/permissions, and lifecycle automation

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in learning technology or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3)
  • Strong understanding of API integrations, content interoperability, and learning-data delivery
  • Experience with SCORM, xAPI, and LRS
  • Proficient in languages such as Python, Java, or C++
