Senior Data Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design and develop robust data pipelines using AWS Glue, Airflow, Databricks, StreamSets, and Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipelines Design & Optimization: Develop scalable ETL/ELT workflows with a focus on performance, security, and compliance.
  • Cloud & Big Data Solutions: Architect platforms with AWS (Redshift, Lambda, S3, Athena) and leverage Spark, Kafka, Hive for efficient processing.
  • Data Modeling & Governance: Create robust schemas, ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR/HIPAA), and enforce security best practices.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with analysts and data scientists, and act as a technical architect in solution delivery.
  • Performance & Security: Optimize queries, implement role-based access control (RBAC) and identity access management (IAM), and ensure disaster recovery/high availability standards.

Required Skills:

  • Programming: Python (primary), SQL (expert), Java (good-to-have)
  • Platforms: AWS (Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, S3), Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka
  • Tools: Airflow, StreamSets, DBT
  • Databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Hive, HBase
  • Strong experience in data modeling, governance, and compliance.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery and enterprise data integration.
