Job Overview

As a seasoned financial professional, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of financial management for our energy sector clients. This includes the finalization of accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with plant operations to create accurate and realistic financial forecasts.
  • Cost Management: Oversee cost accounting activities, including tracking and reporting on fuel costs, maintenance expenses, and operational efficiencies.
  • Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and industry regulations.
  • Internal Controls, Processes, and Risk Management: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance along with professional accounting qualification (CA).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance in the core energy sector or power industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, Advanced Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected changes and demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Language: Command over English, Telugu, and Hindi.
