Job Title: Business Finance ManagerAbout Us:We are working to reimagine financial products for the next billion users. Our goal is to enable businesses to provide affordable and accessible financial services to their customers.The current financial system is inaccessible to many individuals, who rely on informal channels such as auto-wallas and security guards. We aim to change this by breaking down complex financial products into simpler APIs that can be easily integrated into various apps and services.This approach will not only reduce costs but also enable businesses to go live with fintech products or services in a matter of days, rather than months.We believe that fintech will be a core part of every company's offering, and we're building the infrastructure to accelerate this trend.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Management Reports: Covering financial flows, revenue, expenses, etc., and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Analyse and Optimise Pricing Strategies: To maximise profitability and market competitiveness, in alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide Leadership Insights: On actual performance, including variance and trend analysis.
  • Drive Visibility into Financial Performance: Identify and implement gap-closing strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyse Revenue and Cost Metrics: And work with functional teams to enhance revenue and reduce costs.
  • Deliver Ongoing Reports: On weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational metrics.
  • Analyse Trends in KPIs: Related to financial metrics like sales, expenditures, and profit margin.
Requirements:Qualifications: Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of work experience, including experience in business finance/financial planning and analysis.Industry Experience: Experience in financial services, payments, or fintech is a plus.Skill Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to deliver independently with limited supervision, and the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate insights effectively.
