Job Title: Vulnerability Assessment Professional

About the Role:
  • Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on applications, infrastructure, cloud, and network layers to identify security risks.
  • Provide detailed risk analysis and actionable recommendations to stakeholders to enhance the overall security posture.
  • Develop high-quality reports including technical findings and risk-based remediation guidance to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and mitigate identified vulnerabilities through coordinated efforts.
  • Leverage industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP, Wireshark, and others to facilitate thorough assessments.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements to ensure proactive security measures are in place.
  • Conduct retesting to validate the effectiveness of implemented security controls and measure their impact.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (application, network, cloud, mobile, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, MITRE ATT&CK framework, and secure coding practices to inform risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus for automation and efficiency.
  • Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred to leverage existing infrastructure.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, eJPT, eCPPT, or similar demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong documentation and report-writing capabilities to present findings and recommendations clearly.
