Job Description

We are seeking a Category Management expert to lead our team in driving business growth and excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in space planning, category management, and project management.

  • As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for mastering process and category knowledge to become a single point of contact for complex categories/regions.
  • You will partner with other teams to build business context and create seamless partnerships.
  • Display advanced project management skills to lead multiple projects seamlessly and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Develop and share in-depth knowledge of our business, categories, products, tools, and best practices with the team on an ongoing basis.
  • Contribute to the execution of planograms, reports, and customized shelving/assortment plans by leveraging merchandising guidelines.
  • Manage end-to-end best-in-class planograms by becoming an SME for most categories.
  • Acquire space automation or space analysis skills to improve space productivity.
  • Recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work.
  • Display a high sense of accountability when completing requests with high visibility or tight turnaround times.
  • Scale-up growth by identifying areas where continuous improvement is required, both within existing scope, as well as new areas of opportunity.
  • Create an inclusive and collaborative environment.
  • Work in a team environment with focus on achieving team goals vs individual goals.
  • Actively learn and apply advanced level of expertise in JDA, MS Excel, and all other relevant applications.
Key Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7-10 years of experience in space planning, JDA, retail, or FMCG.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated intermediate Excel skills necessary.
  • Ability to solve problems and think critically.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of space management technology platform JDA.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with multi-functional teams/stakeholders.
  • Best-in-class time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
