Job Title:
Sr. Application Developer, Residuals

Description:
You will work on designing, developing, and implementing residuals application components using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Your role accountabilities include
- Designing, developing, and implementing residuals application components.
- Enhancing existing systems by adding new features, optimizing performance, and addressing technical debt.
- Implementing robust backend systems to handle complex calculations for guild agreements and contract-based payments.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for
- Monitoring and maintaining the health and performance of residuals applications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving application bugs, data inconsistencies, and system outages.
- Performing root cause analysis and implementing preventative solutions to minimize recurring issues.

Requirements:
We are looking for someone with
- 5-8 years of experience in Java development with advanced knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- 5 - 8 years of hands-on implementation or operational experience with Residuals and/or Music Royalties payments.
- 5 - 8 years of production support or software development experience.
- Strong Hands-on experience with relational databases (DB2, Oracle) and writing SQL queries.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies and version control systems such as Git and CICD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Software development life cycles, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
