Job Opportunity: Senior Snowflake Consultant

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake expert with hands-on experience in Matillion ETL and proven expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

We require a professional who can design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake. This involves ensuring compliance, security, and performance to meet regulatory and business needs.

  • Design and Implement Data Solutions: Create Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions that support large-scale BFSI data volumes.
  • Define Best Practices: Implement best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance for Snowflake environments.
  • Develop Scalable Data Models: Create data models supporting BFSI use cases, such as regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics, and more.
  • Build and Schedule Data Pipelines: Use Matillion to build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines.
  • Optimize ELT Workflows: Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
  • Error Handling and Recovery: Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Maia and Banking Domain Expertise: Understand Maia and translate banking data requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions.
  • Collaboration and Support: Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, and reporting teams to deliver analytical datasets, collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure secure, compliant cloud deployments, and support junior engineers on Snowflake and Matillion best practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Matillion ETL, proven expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain, and excellent understanding of Snowflake architecture.
