About the Role:
Position Title: AVP / Manager - PMO Corporate Title: AVP / Manager Reporting to: Vice PresidentLocation: BangaloreJob ProfileExperience:Previous experience in a PMO, preferably 8 - 10 yearsExperience in the banking industry, at least 10 - 12 years with a comprehensive understanding of banking operations (Trade, Commercial Lending, Deposits and Payments)Change Management experience, with a minimum of 7 - 8 years, preferably with Lean / Six Sigma training or certificationSkills:Expertise in developing and managing PMO strategies, project management methodologies and techniques, including Agile, ScrumExceptional ability to develop and manage complex project schedules, identify, and mitigate risks, set project scopes, objectives, and deliverablesAbility to provide guidance and team leadership, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and manage conflicts effectivelyHighly proficient in crafting and delivering presentations to senior management and other stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, critical for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in conducting Cost-Benefit Analysis to estimate the strengths and weaknesses of alternatives in business decisionsResponsibilities:Develop and promote standardization strategies to enhance efficiency across projectsOversee the operations within the project management officeSupport project execution and provide expertise on the planning and closing of projectsImplement and enforce project standards across all projects within the portfolioDevelop a comprehensive roadmap for the PMO, including a program for continuous improvementQualifications:Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is highly desirableComprehensive familiarity with banking regulations and compliance standardsPersonal Requirements:Excellent communication skillsResults driven, with a strong sense of accountabilityA proactive, motivated approachThe ability to operate with urgency and prioritize work accordinglyStrong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgementA structured and logical approach to workStrong problem solving skillsA creative and innovative approach to workExcellent interpersonal skillsThe ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlinesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyA calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurized environmentStrong numerical skillsExcellent Microsoft Office skills
