Database Expertise

We seek a skilled professional to fill the role of Database Administrator. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain databases that meet application needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Optimize and tune SQL queries for improved performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with developers to design and implement database solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including data discrepancies and performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices for SQL and PL/SQL development.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
  • Perform data modeling and design database structures that meet application needs and business requirements.
  • Document database procedures, structures, and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in a development environment.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and SQL.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for performance.
  • Experience with PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning techniques and tools for Oracle databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience with Oracle 19c or later versions.
  • Knowledge of database security practices and data integrity concepts.
  • Experience with version control systems for database code management.
