Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing cloud data pipelines, with hands-on experience in AWS Databricks, Snowflake, Python, and Fivetran.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining foundational business data domains and elements, collaborating with data product stewards to capture data definitions, driving data source lineage reports, and recommending data extraction and replication patterns.

In addition, the candidate should have experience with data migration from big data to AWS Cloud on S3, Snowflake, and Redshift. They must be able to understand where to obtain information needed to make appropriate decisions, break down complex problems into manageable pieces, and implement effective timely solutions.

The ideal candidate will have exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills, relevant experience with ETL methods, and strong experience with relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and develop foundational business data domains and elements
  • Collaborate with data product stewards to capture data definitions and drive data source lineage reports
  • Recommend data extraction and replication patterns
  • Experience with data migration from big data to AWS Cloud on S3, Snowflake, and Redshift

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, especially S3, Snowflake, and Python
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Relevant experience with ETL methods and with retrieving data from dimensional data models and data warehouses
  • Strong experience with relational databases and data access methods, especially SQL
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment
