Empowering Education Through Video Content

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team and contribute to creating high-quality, short-form educational videos. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced creative environment with 1-2 years of experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for editing videos and audio under one minute long using Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. They will assemble scenes, apply basic color correction, mix audio, and export in multiple formats (16:9 and 9:16).

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with editors, designers, and AI artists on projects that make a real impact. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Editing short-form educational videos and audio based on finalized scripts and provided guidelines
  • Assembling video timelines using approved footage and assets
  • Applying basic color correction and color matching to maintain consistency between shots
  • Performing basic sound design and audio mixing for voice, effects, and music elements
  • Exporting videos in multiple formats including 16:9 (landscape) and 9:16 (vertical) for different platforms

Requirements:

  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
  • Understanding of video editing fundamentals, including timeline assembly, audio syncing, and exports
  • Experience with basic color correction, color matching, and audio mixing
  • Ability to export and format videos for multiple aspect ratios (16:9 and 9:16)

Benefits include the opportunity to work in a collaborative, remote environment with access to required software. Compensation is paid per hour and processed through Rippling. Contractors are responsible for providing their own computer, internet access, and working environment.
