About Our Team

We are a dynamic and innovative team focused on building and improving our Data Warehouse offerings. As a Principal Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Engineers and working closely with clients to gather requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to propose architecture, solve complex data modeling issues, and develop high-quality features. You will also be part of an emerging team that is passionate about using cutting-edge technologies such as AWS, Spark, and Databricks.

To succeed in this position, you will need 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend and data engineering. You should also have hands-on experience with Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting, as well as production experience with cloud-native data-intensive applications.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend and data engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting
  • Production experience with cloud-native data-intensive applications
  • Experience with modern data warehouses, Databricks, and dbt
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience with building and maintaining Spark applications
  • Fundamental understanding of Parquet, Delta Lake, and other OTFs file formats
  • Proficiency with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation)
  • Experience with observability systems (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana)
  • Strong experience with building CI/CD processes, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Jenkins
  • Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks
