Job Summary

As a seasoned lawyer, you will lead a team in advising clients on equity capital markets transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SEBI regulations and equity transactions with 5-8 years of relevant experience in a leading law firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate critical transaction documents including prospectuses, offer documents, underwriting agreements, and placement memorandums.
  • Oversee equity market transactions such as IPOs, QIPs, rights issues, follow-on public offerings (FPOs), and other equity offerings.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on compliance with SEBI regulations and listing requirements.
  • Manage due diligence processes, identify potential risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with clients, stock exchanges, regulators, and other stakeholders ensuring seamless execution of transactions.
  • Stay updated on legal developments in the ECM space and proactively advise clients on regulatory changes.
  • Mentor junior associates ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient team performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • LL.B. or equivalent qualification from a reputed law school.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in Equity Capital Markets at a leading law firm.
  • Strong expertise in SEBI regulations, equity transactions, and listing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
