Job Summary

The Software Engineer, D&T Azure Cloud Platform requires knowledge and expertise to participate in the architectural design, development, and enhancement of applications. This role will work with an international team to bring the power of IT in the Pharmaceutical space, contributing to efficient and effective production flow as well as instrumentally contribute to West Pharma IoT internal and customer-facing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing business-critical applications using C# .NET Core, React, Entity Framework, and microservice-based architecture.
  • Work with senior roles and architects on various prototypes or proof-of-concept to test solutions.
  • Develop applications integrating in real-time with IoT devices.
  • Develop communication interfaces using MQTT, OPC, SignalR, Sockets, etc.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience.
  • Experience in developing and managing solutions using C# .NET Core, React, Entity Framework, and microservice-based architecture.
  • Utilizing Open Data Protocol (OData), JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
  • DevOps for cloud-hosted or on-prem solutions.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with AI agentic development tools.
  • Familiarity with other AI technologies.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Docker Hub, Kubernetes, and Helm for automating containerized application deployment.
  • Development using secure solutions with Azure Active Directory and Azure Key Vaults.
