Job Title: E-Commerce Business Solutions Specialist

 

The Hybris eCommerce Business Analyst role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of consulting engagements. This professional works closely with client stakeholders and business users, as well as cross-functional delivery teams over the lifecycle of a project to gather and document solution requirements; document solution design; model and configure e-commerce data structures and business processes; collect, manipulate and load product data, define test scripts and acceptance criteria, manage & communicate requirement, design and priority changes and facilitate and manage defect tracking and prioritization.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting one-on-one or small group interview sessions to gather required use cases, functional requirements, and technical requirements in order to develop requirement documentation.
  • Providing analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and documenting e-commerce system requirements and procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives and user needs.
  • Offering consultation services to client stakeholders and business users on Omni-channel-specific business topics, including product catalog modeling, inventory management, customer service, b2b customer management, b2b procurement, demand generation, promotion strategy, cross-channel commerce, and more.
  • Developing user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, data models, and process flow diagrams to communicate engagement scope to client and delivery team members.
  • Being accountable for completing assigned work within specified timeframes and communicating status if task delivery dates are at risk.
  • Collaborating with other project delivery team members towards the resolution of business or systems issues.
  • Understanding e-commerce data structures, collecting product catalogue data from client business users, manipulating data for import into e-commerce system and identifying data gaps, and performing product data imports into e-commerce system (project dependent).
  • Providing system demonstrations and training to client business users.
  • Developing test plans, writing manual/automated test scripts, and defining acceptance criteria to ensure high-quality project deliverables (project dependent).

 

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in general IT business analysis coming from an E-Commerce domain, along with 2-3 years of implementing Hybris Commerce. A concrete understanding of SAP Hybris Application Lifecycle Framework is also required. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree and excellent communication skills are essential. Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines is a must, as well as the capacity to work independently with little to no supervision. Experience with global service delivery models and ability to work collaboratively are highly valued.
