Job Role: Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in developing, debugging, testing, deploying and supporting code for various applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for writing, debugging, maintaining, and testing software in multiple programming languages, including C, C++, Python, and GoLang. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of robust and high-quality software products.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from firmware to application-level software. You will also contribute to the development process, following an agreed-upon methodology such as Agile or Scrum, and ensure that your work complies with product life cycle development phase/gate deliverables.

You will work in a collaborative environment with other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership to enhance designs through feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design, and simulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, debug, test, deploy, and support software for various applications.
  • Write, debug, maintain, and test software in multiple programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of robust and high-quality software products.
  • Contribute to the development process, following an agreed-upon methodology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Rich experience in C, C++, Python, and GoLang programming languages.
  • Experience in NOS development/sustenance.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including L2, L3, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, and QOS.
  • Good working experience with Broadcom XGS/DNX family of devices.
