About the Role:

We seek a highly skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Data Collection and Management: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.">
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data">
  • ETL operations: Perform ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.">
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.">
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.">
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including project managers, analysts, and external partners, to comprehend data requirements.">
  • Create training materials and conduct trainings to customers as required.">
  • Support trade shows and Esri conferences as required.">

Requirements:

Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data Specialist role is required. Knowledgeable with various ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.

  • Experience with image analysis: Familiarity with image processing techniques.">
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.">
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to business partners, peers, and various levels of management.">

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform.

Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.

Self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
