The Payroll & Benefits Administrator role at Air Liquide supports the local HRBP team through a variety of administrative tasks, aligned with local policies, legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain employee records
  • Maintain an accurate HR dashboard
  • Manage interaction with outsourced payroll platforms and service providers
  • Run and review timesheet export reports from Workday to interface with the Payroll system
  • Provide payroll vendors with accurate employee data for pay processing, including time and attendance files, tax changes, retroactive adjustments, paperwork, special pays, and paid time off adjustments
  • Support the Business Support Centre (BSC) in administering the monthly payroll cycle & benefits in accordance with labour regulations and standard operating procedures
  • Liaise with Finance to ensure timely submission of monthly pension contributions & NPS to relevant social security schemes
  • Ensure all eligible employees are registered for relevant pension schemes, with exemptions sought as required
  • Foster knowledge of local regulations and best practices relating to payroll and social security programs; serve as a subject matter expert on local labour law for colleagues in the BSC

In this role, you will work closely with the Finance team to consolidate and reconcile exercises, ensuring current payroll adheres to tax requirements and relevant laws associated with employee wage rates. You will also oversee attendance and leave policy management, audits, and inputs for payroll purposes.

A key aspect of this position is coordinating flexi-benefits schemes according to timeline-monthly, managing EXPAT cost management in consultation with consultants, and ensuring employees and their dependents are informed of applicable benefits linked to their employment.

This role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to provide immediate support to medical emergencies/insurance requirements aligning between employees and insurance providers.
