Disaster Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team. This role will involve executing and supporting our enterprise IT Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management process.

This position requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and implement business recovery plans, review and revise existing protocols, and drive alignment of IT organization priorities with key business objectives.

  • Develops and implements disaster recovery strategies: Develops and implements comprehensive disaster recovery strategies to ensure minimal disruption to business operations in the event of an unexpected interruption.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation: Conducts thorough risk assessments for various departments and functions, identifying potential areas of vulnerability and implementing measures to mitigate those risks.
  • Crisis management: Develops and facilitates crisis management plans, procedures, and training programs to ensure effective response to business disruptions.
  • Recovery operations: Identifies, troubleshoots, and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.
  • Practice drills: Creates and facilitates regular practice drills to test plan execution and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.• Certification in disaster recovery or a related field (e.g., ITIL).
