Big Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join our data engineering team.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Scala, Spark, Python, NiFi, and Apache Kafka.
  • They will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and distributed data processing systems.

Mandatory Skills:

Technical Requirements
  • Scala: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong Expertise in Spark (PySpark) and Python: Proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
  • Apache Kafka: Hands-on experience.
  • NiFi / Airflow: Knowledge of orchestration.

Preferred Skills:

Additional Requirements
  • Message Queue Technologies: Exposure to Apache Kafka or equivalent.
  • Data Analytics Visualization: Experience in designing intuitive, responsive UIs.
  • Monitoring/Alerting Solutions: Familiarity with Splunk or other solutions.
  • CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins.
