Job Title:

Senior Front-end Web Developer

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned senior front-end web developer to join our company's dynamic team.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to develop high-quality user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows.

As a senior front-end web developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user-friendly interfaces that meet the best possible performance and user experience standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop new user-facing features using React.js
  2. Build reusable components and libraries for future use
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  4. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  5. Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers
  6. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in front-end development
  8. Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and in production environments

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in React.js development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or MobX)
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM)
  • Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile development
  • Proven track record of delivering public-facing websites
  • Implement smooth, engaging animations and interactions using libraries like GSAP, Framer Motion, or WebGL
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
