Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced CPU Physical Design Engineer to lead our high-speed core development team. As a critical member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-speed cores, including CPUs, GPUs, and DDRs, with a focus on synthesis, constraints, and physical design.

  • Design and develop high-speed cores, including CPUs, GPUs, and DDRs, with a focus on synthesis, constraints, and physical design.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of high-speed core architectures, including silicon margins, voltage trade-offs, power, and area impact.
  • Work closely with RTL designers to optimize designs and provide feedback.
  • Develop expertise in floorplanning for multi-core systems, L2 and L3 cache, and power planning from bump to chip.
  • Analyze critical paths, pipelining, latency, and super buffer implementations to ensure optimal design performance.
  • Apply low-power implementation techniques to minimize power consumption.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in CPU Physical Design Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of high-speed core architectures and their implications on power and area.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
