Job Title: L3 IT Security Engineer

Job Summary
At Hiring Cliq Consultancy Services, we are seeking an experienced L3 IT Security Engineer to join our team. This role will play a critical part in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security solutions to safeguard our organization from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

- Security Architecture and Design: Design and maintain advanced security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security technologies. Conduct security assessments and provide recommendations for improving security posture.

- Incident Response and Management: Lead the incident response process, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and lessons learned. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and respond to security incidents.

- Threat Intelligence and Research: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques. Conduct threat intelligence research to identify emerging risks and trends.

- Policy and Compliance: Ensure security policies, standards, and procedures align with best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct security assessments and audits for compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.

- Security Awareness and Training: Provide security awareness training and educate employees about best practices. Develop and conduct training programs for internal teams.

- Mentoring and Leadership: Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Act as a subject matter expert and provide escalation support for complex security incidents.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience: 10+ years in information security, focusing on designing and implementing security solutions.

- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of network security, endpoint security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and security protocols. Experience with security assessment tools and techniques. Experience with Microsoft Defender products. Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar certifications are preferred.

Preferred Experience and Skills

- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Knowledge of DevSecOps, secure coding practices, and IT security concepts.

- Familiarity with threat hunting and security analytics.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, Conditional Access, MDM, and MAM.

- Scripting experience with PowerShell or VBScript.

- Professional qualifications like CCSP, CISA, ISO 27001 are a plus.
