Job Overview

Supporting business teams in drafting, structuring and negotiating agreements mainly relating to business development, international business, trusts and other activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Agreements: Drafting, structuring, vetting, negotiating and finalizing agreements in line with the business understanding and ensuring appropriate risk mitigation for the company.
  • Statutory Compliances: Reviewing statutory compliances at various locations and suggesting remedial measures. Working with concerned stakeholders to ensure remedial measures are put in place in a timely manner.
  • Risk Mitigation: Understanding the business and analyzing the risk involved and advising on mitigating liabilities for the company.
  • Advisory: Advising stakeholders from time to time on various issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Qualifications: LL.B. / LL.M.
  • Knowledge and Skills (Functional/Technical): Drafting, vetting and negotiating various kinds of agreements within India and cross border. Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation and Intellectual Property law would be advantageous. Strong negotiation skills and business and financial acumen. Strong communications and drafting skills, including the ability to draft high quality agreements and other documents. Well-versed in how business operates in high degree of professional ethics, integrity and gravitas. Ability to have influence across all levels of the business including peers and senior management, and able to work independently. Detail-oriented, have good judgement and sound risk mitigating skills.
  • Behavioural Attributes: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent judgement and analytical skills.
