Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Architect to join our organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data solutions on Snowflake, including data ingestion, transformation, and optimization. They will also have experience with Azure Databricks, including Spark architecture and optimization, as well as expertise in data migration from relational databases to Snowflake and optimizing Snowflake features such as data sharing, events, and lakehouse patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design scalable data architectures on Snowflake
  2. Migrate data from relational databases to Snowflake
  3. Optimize Snowflake features such as data sharing, events, and lakehouse patterns
  4. Develop and maintain ETL processes using Python/Java
  5. Ensure data security, access controls, and governance within cloud-native data platforms like Snowflake and Dremio
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes through data-driven insights

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in cloud data management
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, ETL data pipelines, Big Data model techniques using Python/Java
  • Proven experience architecting and implementing large-scale data solutions on Snowflake
  • Proficiency in Azure Databricks, including Spark architecture and optimization
  • Experience migrating data from relational databases to Snowflake
  • Expertise in data virtualization and managing diverse data formats (e.g., JSON, XML, CSV)
