About this role:
We are seeking an experienced Independent Testing Specialist to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in risk management and testing to drive business growth and excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in independent testing, with experience in leading or participating in moderate to high-risk review activities. They will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate emerging risks to management within Independent Testing.
In this role, you will contribute to large-scale planning related to Independent Testing deliverables and ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs and controls according to standards and other applicable policies.
You will also resolve moderately complex issues and lead teams to meet Independent Testing deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of the risk management framework and the risk and control environment.
Additionally, you will collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners, management, and lines of business regarding risk management. Required Qualifications include 4+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting, is also required. Desired Qualifications include knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, or audit operations.
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
