Job Title: Data Architecture Professional

We are seeking an experienced Data Architecture Professional to join our team.

  • About the Role:
  • This is a senior-level position responsible for designing and implementing data architectures on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS-native services such as Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, business stakeholders, and DevOps teams to ensure data solutions align with business needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies in the AWS ecosystem to improve data infrastructure.
  • Define and implement data governance, security, access controls, and data lifecycle management in AWS.
  • Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and data flow diagrams to support ongoing development and operations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design end-to-end data architectures using best practices for scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Architect and implement data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines following industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decisions are made.
  • Develop and maintain data architecture roadmaps and strategic plans.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture with a focus on AWS.
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS services including Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and RDS.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, access controls, and data lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time.
