Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development process, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute test plans and test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assess system requirements and technical design documents to provide timely feedback and ensure clarity.
  • Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in various testing types, including functional testing, performance testing, load testing, regression testing, security testing, and API testing.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and software development processes, as well as experience with programming languages for test automation.
  • Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify issues and assess software quality effectively.
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Computer Science / MCA or equivalent.
  • Total testing experience of 8+ years, having worked primarily on web-based or mobile applications.
  • Experience in Team Leading.
  • Experience in Web based application testing.
  • Experience with testcase management tools like Test Rail or Jira is a plus.
  • Exposure to API testing tools like SoapUI or Postman is a plus.
  • Experience of writing SQL queries and functions is a plus.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus.
